The Beacon's architecture is patterned after the surrounding mountain landscape and the region's history in shipping, logging, and timber milling. The tower's exterior glass plates and metal details complement its concrete foundation lines, culminating in a rooftop lantern. Units feature one of three contemporary colour schemes – wenge, walnut, and olive. The surrounding grounds feature native trees and shrubs. Features of all three towers include triple-ply glazing, full air conditioning with individual unit controls, and three elevators. Each unit will include a larger-than-average balcony and full-sized appliances and bathtubs, a desirable feature in the Vancouver condominium market. The typical floor plate in the building is 8,000 sq-ft. |
