Project Safety Coordinator
Safety is the most important consideration on our sites. Candidates should have the following minimal requirements to be considered for the position of Project Safety Coordinator:
- Certification as a Project Safety Coordinator
- First Aid – Level 3
- Trained in WHMIS– Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the construction industry
The successful candidate:
- Will be well-versed in ITC’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manual and diligently implement and manage the Site Safety Program
- We be driven and can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Will manage all site safety documentation and operational requirements proactively and accurately.
- Will have well-developed communication skills.
- Will develop positive working relationships with all trade personnel and teammates.
- Will be detailed oriented in all aspects of documentation and reporting
- Good knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) Regulations and Procedures for Provincial for Canadian Operations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
